Imuli Village
A community in Bugiri, Uganda that became the heart of our work — where it all started with a single meal.
Where it began
Imuli Village sits in Bugiri, Uganda, and it’s the heart of our work — the place where Little Light Movement started with a single warm meal. Today, roughly 100 children and families there eat two meals a day, given freely and without conditions.
What we’ve done so far
Together with our supporters, we’ve served thousands of meals and counting, and funded a clean-water well so the community has safe water every day. Every “Spreading Light” tee sold adds ten more meals.
What’s next: a self-sustaining Imuli
Feeding the village today is only the beginning. Our goal is to help Imuli stand on its own — we’re working to purchase land for the community to farm, so they can grow their own food and become self-sustaining for years to come, not dependent on outside meals. It’s the difference between feeding for a day and feeding for a generation.
